Edmonton Biofuels
Imagine using household garbage to
fuel your car...
This is the goal of the Edmonton Waste-to-Biofuels project. This sustainable initiative will divert more waste from landfill, reduce GHG emissions and produce a green transportation fuel. The City of Edmonton, the Government of Alberta, through Alberta Innovates- Energy and Environment Solutions (EES, formerly the Alberta Energy Research Institute (AERI)) and Enerkem Alberta Biofuels (EAB) have joined forces to create this innovative project.
