Enerkem is presently developing the detailed engineering for the plant. Equipment orders will be starting soon as well as the selection of the construction suppliers.

April 2009 Environmental permit granted by Alberta Environment.
July-Nov 2009 Detailed plant engineering
Dec 2009 Start of equipment purchase
Summer 2010 Start of construction
2011 Start of operations

Advanced Energy Research Facility

Construction has begun and the facility is expected to begin operations in March 2010.
